About Me

Katrina Sriranpong, former lawyer and philanthropist, is an active supporter of organizations which aid underprivileged children, refugees from conflict zones as well as animals and their habitat.  She has strived towards positive change on issues such as anti-human trafficking, especially of children, providing humanitarian aid for refugees and caring for orphans requiring medical treatment.

Before becoming a lawyer, Katrina Sriranpong attended the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada.  She furthered her education at the University of Leicester and the University of Oxford in England, United Kingdom, before returning to her home in Vancouver, Canada.

She served as an intern with the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy, a United Nations Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Programme Network Institute.  She researched corruption in the criminal justice system in Asia, genocide, and the challenges faced by refugees, especially marginalized children.

Some of the organizations that align with Katrina Sriranpong’s dedication to assisting children are UNICEF, War Child, the New Hope Foundation and Operation Underground Railroad, all of which receive aid from Katrina Sriranpong.

The Orangutan Project, Soi Dog Foundation and the Elephant Nature Park are among the animal protection organizations that receive funding from Katrina Sriranpong. Striving to raise awareness on environmental issues and habitat protection, Katrina Sriranpong assists some of these non-profit organizations in expanding their sources of funding.
